Digital Humanities is a fast evolving field, generating rapid interest among scholars, researchers and students. Perhaps it holds the greatest significance for the current generation. Simply speaking, Digital Humanities seeks to analyze the intersection between computing and the disciplines of humanities. The teaching and research of the course will widely address the above-mentioned area.
The diploma course is open post-graduates with MA/ MSc/ MTech/ MLIS or equivalent in any discipline with 55% or above. For SC/ ST/ PD the required percentage is 50% or above. Those students who have finished their final examinations and are awaiting results may also apply, provided that they have the requisite marks in previous components/ semesters. Basic familiarity in computer operation is required for this course.
The last date for applying is 24th July 2015. Applicants are required to download the form from the university website (http://www.jaduniv.edu.in/upload_files/scroll_info/1434108569.pdf) and after filling it they are required to submit it at the Project Room of the School of Cultural Texts and Records of the university. This is a one year long course with a minimum fee of RS 6000 for a year. It is one of the best courses offered the university and certainly adds up in the resume for any interested applicant.
