The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently declared the date for National Eligibility Test that would be held on 27th December 2015 (Sunday), to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Assistant Professor or only for the post of Assistant Professor. CBSE would conduct NET in 83 subjects at 88 selected cities where examination sites would be allotted that are spread across the country. Aspirants from both Indian colleges and universities would be allowed to take the examination after the successful submission of the online exam form and if they meet the required criteria for appearing in the examination.
The submission of the online application form has begun from 1st October 2015 and would continue till 1st November 2015. The last date for submission of fees with the help of online generated bank challan at any branch of Syndicate/ Canara/ICICI/HDFC bank is 2nd November 2015. If applicants are required to make any correction in their online application form, they would be allowed to do that in the website from 9th to 14th November 2015. All the applicants are advised to take a printout of the confirmation page after the submission of the application form, but they are not required to send it to the Board.
The result of the examination would be available on the website: www.cbsenet.nic.in as and when it is declared. Applicants who would be successful in passing all three papers and register a good performance would qualify for the post of JRF and Assistant Professor or only Assistant Professor depending on their eligibility as per the examination result. Every year numerous aspirants apply for NET which can be ranked as one of the toughest examination in the country. But with strong determination and practice nothing is impossible to achieve.
