What is the Eligibility to Apply for CAT 2018?
You must be a graduate to Apply for CAT 2018.
As you are going to join a Post Graduate Degree, prior to that you must have a Graduation certification.
Most of the Student asked me, weather Diploma in Engineering is Eligible or not.
Certificate of Diploma in Engineering is not Accepted for any of the PG programs. So, You must be secured a bachelor Degree prior to any PG Programs.
For CAT 2018, there is a consideration of minimum marks of Graduation or Equivalent course.
- For General Candidates: Minimum 50% Marks in Graduation
- For SC/ST, PWD Candidates: Minimum 45% Marks in Graduation
For CAT Application, there is no specific requirement of Discipline in Bachelor Degree. It is open for Science/Arts/Commerce/ Engineering/Law and other Equivalent bachelor degree certificate holder.
Candidates those are appearing for final year of Graduation can also eligible to apply for the CAT 2018 Exam.
Professional Degree holder like CA, CS and ICWA candidates are also eligible to apply for the CAT Exam.
