For Indian Economic Service, Candidate must have a post graduate degree from a recognised university in econolics/ Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics. 

For Indian Statistical Service, candidate must have a Post Grade Degree from an Indian university in Statistics/ Applied Statistics/Mathematical Statistics.

Age Limit For the Examination :-

The Age limit for both the Examination is set as 21 to 30 years on 1st january of the year of Examination. 

The notification of the Examination will be announced on June and Examination will be conduct November Month of Every year. 

Scheme of Examination:-

For Indian Economic Service:-

  • General english : 100 Marks
  • General Studies : 100 marks
  • General economics-I : 200 marks
  • General economics-II : 200 marks
  • General economics-III : 200 marks
  • General economics-IV : 200 marks

For Indian Statistical service :-

  • General English : 100 Marks
  • General Studies : 100 marks
  • Statistics -I : 200 Marks 
  • Statistics -II : 200 Marks 
  • Statistics -III: 200 Marks 
  • Statistics -IV : 200 Marks
