Fake Admission Racket in Delhi University Colleges

As verified by joint commissioner (crime) Ravindra Yadav, the illegal racket that operates for securing admission has been working in the city for quite some time. The crime branch of Delhi has successfully identified people associated with it and had arrested a team of four members who were associated with providing illegal admissions for two years. Along with this, few fake admissions in the Delhi University colleges have also been found out both in south and some top north campus colleges like Kirori Mal and Hindu.

These rackets which operate produce fake mark sheets, caste certificates and other official papers. From 2011 itself news of suck racket operating in Delhi was unearthed and this year too several colleges have been found involved like Aurobindo College, KMC, Bhagat Singh, Dayal  Singh and many more.  These rackets charge students anywhere between two to five lakh rupees to get them into colleges and departments of their choice.

With such shameful facts about the admission procedure being unearthed, it raises question regarding the extent people can go to secure an admission and also points that authorities at some level might also be involved as these fake admissions have been happening for quite some time now. It also raises serious points regarding the cut throat competitions in which people can go to nay extent. Even families who are not financially well off are forced to join in these rackets in the hope of a better future for their children. Education is being pawed and sold, and if strict proceedings are not taken this will lead to worse times.
