Along with the Infrastructure and Financial growth, budget allocation to the education sector has been increased 83,771 cr, 12% from the previous budget by Modi Govt.
With continuation of “Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan” Finance Minister Arun jetly announced to setting up five IIMs and IITs in the country. New Govt Increased Rs 28636 cr to the allocation of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
The new proposed IITs , will come up in Kerala, AP, Goa, Chhattisgarh and Jammu where as IIMs will be in Maharashtra, Orissa, Bihar, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
It’s a education development plan to set up IIT and IIM in every state by Modi Govt.
But Surprisingly , the allocation of funds is only Rs 500 Crore , where as to set up one IIT will cost Rs 1750 cr and for IIM is Rs 1000 Crore.
It also clarify the Intention and action of the plan.
The other IITs which was set up during the Congress Govt still struggling to get the Faculty as well as student. With Inadequate Infrastructure IIT and IIM can not provide quality of education to the student. The quality also matter in the education when we talking about reputed institute like IIT and IIM in India.
Setting of the Institute will required a huge funds as well as support to run in long way. Indian Education system is badly affected by infrastructure and quality of the faculty.
