Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2014, Exam Pattern and Important Details


Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2014 , will be held on 19th October 2014. Test is conducted for the appointment of Lectures in university and colleges across Gujarat State. Admit card for the test can be download 10 days prior to the Test , will be available for download from 9th October.

Gujarat State Eligibility Test 2014, Exam Pattern :-

The test is consists of 3 papers with objective type question only. The test will be conduct in separate session for each paper.

Paper -1 :-

It is designed to test reasoning ability , comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.  This paper will contain 60 question carrying 2 marks each. Candidate would be required to answer  any of the  50 questions. If more than 50 question attempted by the candidate , first 50 attempted question will be taken consideration for the evaluation.

Paper-2 :-

Paper is the selected subject of the candidate. It consists of 50 objective type questions carrying 2 marks each. All questions are compulsory in this section.

Paper -3 :-

Paper is selected subject of the candidate , consists if 75 compulsory  objective type questions. Each question carry 2 marks each.

No negative marking for the test. Candidate are requested to attain all the three papers of the test. Candidate who does not appear Paper I and II, will not be allowed to attain paper III .

The Test is purely offline mode and candidate must have mark the Answers in separate OMR sheet for every Paper.

Procedure and Criteria for Declaration of result:-

Selection procedure will undergo in three steps.

Step  1 :-   Candidates are required to obtain following minimum marks for each paper.

Step 2 :-  Merit list will be prepared among the candidates who cleared the step I . Merit list will be subject wise and category wise.

 Step 3 :-  Top 15% candidates for each subject and category will be Qualified for Lectureship .
