What is the Eligibility to Apply for CLAT 2018?
As CLAT is designed to screen the Students for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs for Law Schools, it comes with eligibility criteria for both the Programs. Let’s Understand Eligibility criteria for both Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes.
The Best part of the exam is, there is no upper Age limit for CLAT exam.
Eligibility For Under Graduate Courses:-
There is a requirement of minimum percentage of marks in Qualifying Exam. 10+2 is the Qualifying Exam for Undergraduate Courses.
- For Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Students: 45%
- For SC/ST Categories: 40%
Candidates who are appearing for the Final year of Examination of qualifying Exam can also apply for the Test.
Eligibility for Post Graduate Courses:-
LL.B or Five years integrated LL.B Courses is the Qualifying Exam for the Post Graduate Programs.
- For Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Students: 55%
- For SC/ST Categories: 50%
Candidates who are appearing for the Final year of Examination of qualifying Exam can also eligible for apply for the Test.
Exam Pattern for CLAT 2018 Exam
There is a different Syllabus, number of questions and Exam pattern for both Undergraduate and Post Graduate Courses.
Exam Pattern for Under-Graduate Course
You have to work for total 200 marks in CLAT 2018 Exam within 2 hours. All 200 questions are multiple type questions and carry 1 Mark each.
You must note that there is a negative marking in the CLAT exam. You will lose 0.25 Mark for each wrong answer in the Exam.

Exam Pattern for Post Graduate Course:-
For PG programmes you have to answer for 150 Marks in 2 Hour. The test contains 150 questions of multiple types of 1 mark each.

How to Apply for CLAT 2018?
The application process for CLAT 2018 is completely online and has to be accessed from the official website of CLAT 2018 – www.clat.ac.in.
To apply for CLAT Exam, you must register first with your Mobile Number and E-Mail Id. After registration, a provisional registration number and password will send to the respective Mobile number and E-Mail id.
Use the Provisional registration number to fill the Application form.
Document to be Uploaded to the Online Application
You must upload these documents at the time of Online application.

- Signature of the Candidate
- Scan copy of Certificate for Special Abled Persons
No need to send any physical copy of Application to CLAT Authority. No alteration and Editing in the application allowed after final submission of CLAT 2018 Application. So be careful and check the details before submission of Application.
Application Fees for CLAT 2018
You have to pay the application fees online by Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card. A candidate has to bear the additional transaction charges charged by the banks.

- Cost of previous year Question papers: Rs..500/-
