CLAT will be conducted for both undergraduate and Post Graduate programs.

So, We have to discuss the eligibility criteria for both the Programs.

There is no upper age limit for both Undergraduate and Post Graduate Programs.

Eligibility for Undergraduate Programs:-

  • Qualifying Examination is 10+2 or any Equivalent Examination
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks will be 45% for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates whereas 40% for SC/ST Candidates.

Eligibility for Post Graduate Programs:-

  • Qualifying Examination is an LLB degree
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks will be 55% for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates whereas 50% for SC/ST Candidates.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus for CLAT 2019

No much difference for CLAT test comparing with other competitive Examination. Legal aptitude is the additional section you have to answer for CLAT exam.

You have to answer  5 Subjects for 200 marks in 2 Hours duration. Each question contains 1 Marks.

Be careful of negative marks, there will be a deduction of 0.25 Marks for each wrong answer.

For Undergraduate Courses:-

For Postgraduate Curses:-

Postgraduate courses syllabus is completely different than the undergraduate courses. All the questions will belong to only Previous Law Books.

The Exam pattern will be multiple choice questions of 100 marks followed by 50 Marks of Subjective questions.

You have to answer for 150 marks in 2 hours duration.

How to Apply for CLAT 2019?

The online registration process is already started form 13th January 2019 and will be active till 31st March 2019.

Application for CLAT 2019 is completely online and registration can be done through Official CLAT website:

To apply for CLAT 2019, Online Registration is compulsory.

You can register yourself by Unique Mobile Number and E-Mail ID. Use the registration OTP for Validation.

After the creation of registration, you can log in to the account to fill the required details. Be sure that you are providing correct details.

Documents to be uploaded with Online Application:-

At the time of filling of online application, you must upload below documents to complete the process.

  1. Recent Passport Size photo with Plane Background
  2. Scan copy of Signature
  3. Category Certificate if you are applying under any of the Category ( SC/ST/OBC)
  4. Other relevant certificates if you are applying with PWD Category
