IIT- Hyderabad Receive Loan of Rs 1336 Crore From JICA


Indian Institute of Technology , Hyderabad , receives Loan of Rs 1336 Crore from Japan International Cooperation Agency for building part of the newly established campus . The Govt of India Signed Agreement with JICA For Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA) Loan.

Loan was sanctioned with a concessional rate of 1.40 percent and carries a repayment period of 30 year with 10 10 year advance grace period.

This Loan will be utilized  for building permanent campus and High end research Equipment for the Institute. For the concept Design and architectural plan of the campus , the professors of the University of Tokyo would be involved.

This collaboration will help to maximize the quality of technical education In India.
