Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master’s degree in business administration (management). The MBA degree originated in the United States in the late 19th century when the country industrialized and companies sought scientific approaches to management.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)is a three-year (six semesters) professional Master’s Degree in computer a3ed49b81403524266915.9ab23bc8.m_MBA+22222science awarded in India. The course was designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology. It is a postgraduate course that can be taken up after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree. The MCA programme is inclined more toward Application Development and thus has more emphasis on latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications.

Now it would be completely absurd to choose the better option between any of these two since they are two completely different lanes to be choosing from, in any aspect that you can think of. One is completely related to management whereas the other relates to a field dealing with computers, computer programming and mastering anything related to computers. So there isn’t any sure shot way of saying which one’s a better option whatsoever if compared to each other.

If you are thinking in terms of career prospects though, then you can find a lot of diversities between these two courses and the careers you are to pursue once you are done with them. If we’re talking about MCA then its strictly related to computer expertise and any career you pursue after an MCA education is generally computer related and so your prospects are related to a certain number of sectors. An MBA education on the other hand is related to managerial and management skills of a certain individual and these candidates are sought after in almost every kind of sector out there. So someone with an MBA education is open to prospects in almost all sectors out there.

See what I would say is that what you wanna do your Master’s on is completely your choice. It depends on what you like studying and what you would be interested in rather than what is more popular since in the long run all that matters is what you feel like studying.
