New Grade System Replace Marks System in Class X by Odisha Board

In 2014 , New Grade System is Implemented in Class X exam by Board Of Secondary Education , Odisha. The New Gradation System replace old Marks and Class system in The Board Exam.  Board Of Secondary Education Also increased objective or  Multiple choice question  to 50% from 40% and introduced OMR sheets ( Optical Mark recognition Sheet) for better valuation.

Now Objective and subjective question contain same marks , 50% each. Time length of the examination also divided in to two parts , One Hour for Multiple choice question and one and half hour for subjective type questions.

Now bellow 20 marks will not treated as “FAIL’ Now , it is replaced by ” Unsatisfactory”. same way above 90% categorized as “Outstanding” and 90 to 100 as “Excellent”.

For the First time student can appeal for the Revaluation instead of re addition of marks, from this year. And also it can be done within 7 days of publication of result by paying Rs 700.
