The Nepal earthquake which struck the nation on 25th April had a devastating moment magnitude of 7.8, killing approximately more than 6000 people. It was the most powerful disaster to strike Nepal since the 1934 Nepal-Bihar earthquake. Relief facilities are the primary factor of importance now as the people of Nepal helplessly look forward to it.
Among the many relief operations being undertaken both inside and outside the country, some brave students from Bengal have reached Nepal with funds collected from various educational institutions of West Bengal. These funds will be directly used as relief funds to help the common people of Nepal.
