Some Question about PESSAT Examination

PESSAT Examination will be conducted on May 2015 for the admission in to PES University Bangalore. PESSAT is purely online test and compulsory for the admission in to the University. Registrations are already started for the Test. 

Here is some Questions about PESSAT Examination :-

Can I Change the Center or Date for the Test ?

Other than Bangalore center candidate will not get anther date for the Test. However test center can be changed to secondary center in same date or for any other day candidate can give the examination in Bangalore Center.

What is the Test Fees ?

Test fee for the PESSAT will be Rs 975/-

What is the process for payment of application fees ?

Candidate can pay the application fees by using Credit card/ Debit card / Net Banking or Demand Draft.

When PESSAT Result will be declared ?

PESSAT Result will be announced on May 2015.

How Many Seats are available in Engineering for PESSAT students ?

  • Computer Science : 144 Seats
  • Electronic and Communication : 120 Seats
  • Mechanical : 72 Seats
  • Electrical and Electronics : 48 Seats
  • Civil : 24 Seats
  • Biotechnology : 24 Seats

What if I’ve already selected a seat in the first round of counseling and don’t want to go for it later? What then will happen to the Rs. 2.8 lakhs and Rs. 5000 DD that I’ve paid to the University?

Only 2.8 lakh will be refunded and Rs 5000 will be withheld for counselling charges.

If I fail to attend the counseling on the day specified for me as per my rank, can I attend the same on the next day?
If the candidate who has secured a better rank wants to attend the counseling on the next day which is earmarked for the candidates who have secured a lower rank, they may do so. But the vice-versa will not be possible.
