Result out for Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test ( U- SET )


Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test which is often referred as U-SET exam has recently conducted an exam for the position of Assistant Professor. The response for the exam was quite astounding as many turned up to write the exam. The test was conducted on 1st of March this year and was organised by Kumaun University where all the eligible candidates have appeared for the examination. The test had 3 papers in it which covers more than 25 subject like Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Geography, Economics, Political Science, History etc. As there were many applications received the most waited results of this exam are finally out. U-setThere were actually a list of steps given for procedure of declaration of result.The eligibility requirements based on marks for the position of Assistant Professor is listed below:

  • For general category the candidates must have a minimum of 40 percent in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 while 50 percent in Paper 3.
  • Whereas for OBC/SC/ST/PH/VH category the candidates must have a minimum of 35 percent in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 while 40 percent in Paper 3
  • According to the marks obtained by the candidates a merit list will be prepared which will be category-wise and subject-wise for those who are able to clear the above mentioned criteria. The total score obtained by the candidate from all the three papers will be considered and aggregate marks will the basis of selection.
  • For Assistant Professor SET qualification the top 15 percent of the candidates from the merit lost will be chosen
  • The candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth in the window which opens in the results section on the official website after clicking U-SET 2015 results to check their results. These results can be downloaded for future purpose and can be reviewed after taking print out of those results.
