What is the Procedure and criteria for Declaration of result of NET 2015?


Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE) conducts NET 2015 (National Eligibility Test 2015 ) on behalf of UGC. NET 2015 is the test for determining eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

The candidates are required to achieve minimum marks in each paper separately to qualify the test. Below are the minimum mark requirements for the test. 

CATEGORY  Minimum Marks (%) to be obtained
GENERAL 40 (40%) 40(40%) 75 (50%)
OBC (Non-creamy layer) PWD/SC/ST 35 (35%) 35 (35%) 60 (40%)

Step II:-

The merit list will be prepared using aggregate marks ao all three papers. A list will be prepared subject wise and category wise. 

Step III:-

Top 15% candidates for each subject and category from the merit list will be announced as qualified for NET 2015 for Assistant professor only. 

Step IV:-

Separate merit list will be prepared for junior Research fellowship.
